I have the luxury of living both in the city and in my summerhouse on the countryside. In the city I keep all the tools and colors I use in my everyday creative work. At the summerhouse I have the opportunity to do other creative projects – because I have the possibility to work outdoors!

Concrete is a super fun but messy, dusty material to work with. Perfect for he summer house studio in other words. I love concrete because it is very cheap to buy, easy to poor into molds and burns (dries) all by itself – without a special oven.

Just as many others I started making the big rhubarb leafs made out of concrete. Quite quickly I moved on to develop baked goods like cupcakes and ice-cream cones. As molds I use pots, pans and plates – things you can find in most supermarkets.

Colorful, tempting and spreaders of joy! Arrange the concrete cakes on a table in the garden or why not as a piece of interior design in your home!
